Move once, move properly

Cloud Migration & Architecture

Migration planning and landing-zone architecture that treats security as a starting condition rather than a later phase — so the environment you arrive in is one you can defend.

Discuss This Service

A migration is the cheapest opportunity you will ever have to fix your security architecture. Once workloads are running in a flat account with permissive roles, changing that becomes a project nobody wants to fund.

Lift-and-shift leaves the problems behind

The fastest way to move to cloud is to replicate what you had — same flat network, same shared admin credentials, same implicit trust between systems. It works, it demos well, and it quietly imports a decade of datacentre assumptions into an environment where they no longer hold.

Designing the landing zone properly costs slightly more up front and dramatically less over the following three years. Account boundaries, network segmentation, and identity structure are close to free before the migration and painfully expensive after it.

Scope

What's Included

Application assessment

Each workload evaluated for migration approach — rehost, replatform, refactor, or retire — with honest recommendations about what is not worth moving at all.

Secure landing zone design

Account and subscription structure, guardrails, logging, and network topology established before the first workload moves, all defined as code.

Wave planning

Migration sequenced by dependency and risk, so the first waves are low-stakes and the team has real practice before anything critical moves.

Network segmentation

Private connectivity, segmented subnets, and egress control designed so a compromise in one workload does not become access to all of them.

Cost modelling & guardrails

Realistic cost projections before you commit, plus budget alerts and tagging enforcement so spend stays visible after go-live.

Cutover & rollback planning

Documented cutover runbooks with tested rollback paths, so a bad migration window ends in a controlled retreat rather than an outage.

Questions

Common Questions

Not covered here? Ask us directly — you'll get a straight answer from someone who does the work.

Ask a Question

Can you work with our existing cloud team?

That is the usual arrangement. We design the landing zone and handle the harder architectural pieces while your team executes the migration waves, so the knowledge stays in-house when we leave.

What about workloads that should not move?

We will say so. Some workloads are cheaper and safer where they are, and a few should be retired rather than migrated. A migration plan that quietly includes everything is a sales document, not an assessment.

Which clouds do you cover?

AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, including hybrid and multi-cloud designs. We are not resellers for any of them, so the recommendation follows your workloads rather than a partner quota.
